His Name is Jesus — God turned a simple idea into community wide unity.

In 2018, Grace Fellowship Church began painting windows at businesses around Lawton with the phrase "His Name is Jesus" to centralize the focus of this annual celebration on the Messiah, long before the blue and orange flooded the city. In 2024, Grace decided to forgo their annual window painting and simplify to a singular billboard, which included a URL that led people to a list of several churches in Lawton that would love to welcome them on Easter Sunday.

As churches were asked if they desired to be included on this list, the Lord moved. Very quickly, a beautiful miracle of unity happened. Several churches not only wanted to be involved, but they wanted it to be bigger. It turned into multiple billboards, thousands of t-shirts, yard-signs, banners, stickers, and more. Churches came together with one goal in mind - spreading the name of Jesus to the people of Lawton. Fast forward to the third year and the Lord continues to grow and shape what His Name is Jesus is all about. The pastors and congregations of the churches involved are blessed by the unity that has come from it and are eager and expectant for what He will continue to do in our city.
